Join us at our Port Douglas shop to blend, pour & create your very own medium size candle! Enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbles & a shared fruit platter as part of the experience. A relaxing & creative workshop to treat yourself or enjoy with friends!

Treat yourself to 90 minutes of creativity, connection, and candle magic! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll dive into the art of candle making - blending your own signature scent, learning about different wax types, choosing the perfect wick & finishing it all off with a beautifully labelled vessel to take home. It’s the perfect experience for beginners, a girls’ day out, or a little “me time” with a glass of bubbles in hand!

Each workshop comes with:

• Experienced local chandler
• A personalised medium size of scented soy wax candle to bring home
• We have 90 oils to choose from to create your unique scents
• All the materials needed to make your candle
• A relaxed and air conditioned space
• Complimentary a glass of bubbles - alcoholic & non-alcoholic options will be available (all of our Candle Making Workshops are BYO friendly - feel free to bring your bevies)
• Bonus! You'll receive a 10% discount for any Scents Journey products that you’d like to purchase on the day (eftpos is available)

What you need to bring:

• A sense of curiosity and creativity
• Comfortable clothes (we will supply you with an apron to wear during the session)

Each session is limited to 12 people to allow space, room and time. Please arrive a few minutes early so that we can start the workshop on time. We also offer private group bookings for family or group events.

Important things to note:

• Our Candle Making Workshops (Sip & Pour) is suitable for adults only (Age 16+). Kids & teens (Ages 5 - 15) are welcome to book our School Holiday Candle Making Workshop or The Scents Bar (These experiences are less hands on & shorter in duration).
• Gift voucher purchases can be redeemed on any future available workshop.
• Your candle will take overnight to set & ready to be pick up the next day during our store hours or any other time by appointment. We also offer free local delivery (Port Douglas), including to your hotel lobby. If you're from out of town - we can ship your candle to you for $12 to anywhere in Australia.
• If you need to cancel for any reason, we can reschedule your ticket to another date or a full refund is available with at least 7 days notice. Bookings cancelled less than 7 days notice will incur a charge of 20% fee. We have a small workshop with limited seats, unfortunately no refund is available for no show or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.

Shop 10, 11-17 Macrossan St, Port Village Shopping Centre. Located in the same complex with Coles, right across Toast Sandwich Bar.
